PALU. As many as 100 shelters for 100 families who were affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Petobo, Palu City was completed. Now the refugees have begun to fill the temporary shelter. The Shelter construction process starts on 10 till 22 October 2018.
This shelter builds on the synergy of Rumah Zakat with a joint team from the BPBD of the city / regency of Central Java, the Provincial BPBD, MDMC and the Central Java SAR Team. In the emergency response period to rehabilitation, temporary shelter is needed by refugees. Especially in the coming rainy season, many children and parents need protection.
“Insya Allah, in the near future, Rumah Zakat will rebuild temporary shelters located in Palu and Sigi, Central Sulawesi,” said Rumah Zakat’s Volunteer, Bagas.
