SUBANG.Asep (23) and Endi Rohmat (20) are member of RZ Farmer Community and they been awarded as Farmer of the Month this month since they showed their skill in applying silage technique at their farm.
Silage is fermented, high-moisture stored fodder which can be fed to ruminants (cud-chewing animals such as cattle and sheep) or used as a biofuel feedstock for anaerobic digesters. It is fermented and stored in a process called ensilage, ensiling or silaging, and is usually made from grass crops, including maize, sorghum or other cereals, using the entire green plant (not just the grain).
Asep and Rohmat have joined in RZ Farmer Community since 2014 and they are mentored regularly by RZ Farmer Mentor, Nana.
Nana claimed that they deserve to be awarded as Farmer of the Month because they are categorized as fast learner farmers. ***
