BOGOR. Waste Bank Kicur (Kelompok Ibu-ibu Curug) was established on March, 2014, in Kampung Curug Induk, Curug, Bogor. To present this bank, RZ firstly socialized the danger of littering and the importance of managing waste.
The socialization program aimed to introduce RZ’s public empowerment program on environment field. In addition to socialization activity, RZ and team also initiate it as a public based solution which is expected to solve the public waste problem.
Through participating in waste bank community, the member will be introduced to the various types of waste and how to sort, manage, and sell them. In addition, they are also trained to produce valuable product by recycling waste.
In addition, they can also maximize waste management potentials such as waste sorting action for urban farming and creative industry. ***
