“The goal of this program is to provide livable housing for citizens who are victims of flash floods. Therefore, many people whose homes were destroyed as a result of the disaster, so now they are forced to flee with relatives, neighbors and other relatives, “said RZ’s CEO, Nur Efendi in the activities of laying the first stone of Relocate house for Flood Victims in Pananggungan Lengkong Jaya subdistrict. The process of construction of houses with an area of 36 m2 and 60 m2 of land is predicted to be completed by the end of 2016. So next year, the victims of the flood disaster may occupy a special house that stands on land owned by Garut regency. “About 10 families which will occupy 10 houses are determined by the regency government. According to Nur Efendi, with this program, Garut regency expect a residential neighborhood in the vicinity of the town can be organized and maintained, the improvement of public welfare, as well as increased productivity. “The good intention of Garut regency is certainly to be supported because it is in line with RZ’s mission to empower communities in Indonesia,” he said.

Construction of relocating houses in Pananggugan Block become part of aid distribution for the flood victims, “said Nur Efendi.
