PEKANBARU. High enough rainfall intensity in the district of Riau reminds us to be aware on Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). The rain water that deposited in the container may be a nest of mosquitoes breed. Because of it Majelis Ta’lim Telkomsel (MTT) Sumbagteng Regional was held Aksi Siaga Sehat in Pematang Sikek Village, Rokan Hilir, Riau, on Thursday (03/09).
This event was including examination and health education as well as free health care. Not only that, even this time the action was supported by Rumah Zakat branch Pekanbaru, health center of Pematang Sikek, and the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) Rokan Hilir. The subdistrict head of Desa Pematang Sikek also attend that event.
It was talking about Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) on the health education, it was discussing about the prevention of dengue. As many as 134 residents got free health services on that event. They were really enthusiast to follow the event, especially they could get free health care which really useful and needed by them.
Regional Support MTT Sumbagteng, Priyandoko said, “The prevention of dengue disease is one of MTT Sumbagteng concern especially in the rainy season. It takes the full participation of citizens in order to prevent these diseases through 3 Methods, namely Burying unused objects that can collect rain water, drain water storage, and disposing of containers or other place that could become mosquito breeding. Because prevention is better than cure. ”
