(05/09) Equity in education in Indonesia has not fully implemented properly. The high level of poverty is one of the factors that education cannot be accessed by the whole society, especially the poor and underprivileged.
Whereas the cost of education in Indonesia is still low compare to the other countries. Scholarships for school-age children from poor families and underprivileged be one solution to this problem.
In line with that, Ceria Scholarship Program from donators has helped 26 Chidren of Anak Juara RZ in remote area Batang, the chidren received tuition assistance for school purposes. In addition to getting tuition assistance they also received regular mentory that hold each month.
The scholarship distribution was carried out in Mr. Hartono’s house in Selokarto village batang district. He is a tutor who regularly every week teaches anak juara in Batang district.
At the time of mentoring, they were all excited because in addition to getting a new science they also reminded of the success that is actually easy to be achieve and has always been committed to realize their goals.
