KEDIRI. Volunteers of Rumah Zakat Kediri follow Bakti Brantas action in order to commemorate the 1138th anniversary of Kediri city on Sunday (06/08). The action that began at 06.00 until 11.00 was attended by 600 participants involving 46 communities, students, and also students in the city of Kediri.
These activities included a clean up trash action agenda along the banks of the Brantas river, planting tree seedlings on the banks of the river and ending with the releasing of endemic fish seeds in the Brantas river.
In addition following a series of Bakti Brantas events, Volunteers of Rumah Zakat Kediri also implement “Save Palestine” fundraising campaign, in relation to the current crisis conditions in Palestine.
“Alhamdulillah Bakti Brantas action and also fundraising today went well, hopefully this events can be useful and the funds we get are beneficial to our brothers in Palestine,” said Elwien Roodhiana as Branch Manager of Rumah Zakat Kediri.
Yustin as chairman of Bakti Brantas 2017 committee expressed her gratitude, “Alhamdulillah, Bakti Brantas event and also fundraising can run smoothly. Thank you so much Rumah Zakat for the participation on Bakti Brantas”.
