One of the programs at the moment of Eid al-Adha is SuperQurban program which is an optimization of sacrificial meat is processed in the form of corned beef to be channeled to communities in need. This program has been going for approximately 17 years and is the best innovation from RZ that sacrificial meat can be more beneficial long and wide to the public. And slaughtered sacrificial animals managed by sharia on the day of Eid al-Adha and Tasyrik. While the bones, skin, and the innard distributed around a central location to slaughter at Probolinggo, Pasuruan, the main meat processed into corned and it is ready to be ate.
Qurban meat is processed in the form of corned is very flexible and practical in its distribution. Channeling can be planned well adapted to the needs of local communities. It also can be used as a nutritional supplement for public ranging from children to the elderly. It is very practical for distribution to areas that prone to food shortages due to drought and famine or disaster.
Ahead of Eid al-Adha until tasyrik this year, RZ Yogyakarta branch distributed approximately 3,500 packages of SuperQurban corned to more than 3,000 families in 20 points spread in DIY through SuperQurban expedition program. Territory of distribution decided through prior survey. The majority of beneficiaries come from region which is very rare to get supply sacrificial meat during Eid al-Adha, minus area, and malnutrition area. Among the areas that are became the location of the distribution are Jatimulyo – Kulonprogro, Kalibawang – Kulonprogro, Imogiri – Bantul, Kemadang – Gunung Kidul, Tepus – Gunung Kidul, Gedangsari – Gunung Kidul, Turi – Sleman, Danurejan Code river.
SuperQurban expedition activity is carried out regularly at some point, it done by working with certain communities, eg Go-Box, radio community, college student community, etc. SuperQurban expedition activities were also carried out in the form of a series of joint activities such as health education, free health checks, social service, the distribution of wearable clothing, etc. It adapts to the needs of the surrounding community, the location of distribution.
