SURIAH. Bombs from Russian planes supporting the Assad regime dropped in East Ghouta in February triggered tens of thousands of residents from the area to flee, now the number of refugees in northern Syrian refugees has grown even more with the need of the refugees.
“Currently the most important need they need is food especially in the month of Ramadan, because all this time to survive the refugees rely on humanitarian aid” said Andri Murdianto, Crisis Center of Rumah Zakat.
(27/05) To help meet the food needs of the refugees, Rumah Zakat distributes Ramadan aid in the form of Food Aid to the refugees in Al Rahmah camp internal shelter, Atmah village, northern Syria.
Food aid is then processed by local volunteers to be a ifthar meal for the refugees such as children, adults and parents.
“Alhamdulilah, for the distribution of this ramdhan we provide food packages for the 1375 refugees at Al rahmah camp, may be a special ifthar meal for them” added Andri.
