MAKASSAR. Not just went on vacation, Inayah Alwi, one of the volunteers of RZ Makassar spent her 10 days vacation time to share knowledge to students of Pesantren (boarding school) Darul Istiqomah Towuti Branch, East Luwu. The Pesantren are located not far from the second largest lake after Lake Toba in Indonesia.
Variety activities were carried out, ranging from cleaning-up the pesantren, teaching the fundamentals P3K and Broken Bones, socializing about litter and its effects, making simple nutritional gardens, utilize and recycle waste.
Also she invited the children to coloring, set puzzles and gets to know all kinds of fruits and its benefits.
“It’s too bad to spend the time only for holiday, let’s fill our holiday with things that are useful for the local community” Revealed Inayah.
“The idea and the materials I get for joining volunteer.” He added.
“Alhamdulillah, the children are enthusiast and happy because the daily activities of students is only studying religion and memorize Quran so the activities that we do together become a place of refreshment to increase their motivation to learn” Closed Inayah.
