JAKARTA. Indonesia Mendongeng Program which was implemented by the volunteers of RZ, LKG TPQ Foundation, and TPQ Community recently had successfully involved 26.000 students of boarding school.
The program was held simultaneously in 28 locations spread in 22 cities namely Aceh, Lampung, Cilegon, Bogor, Depok, Bekasi, Cimahi, Banjarnegara, Kendal, Purwodadi, Magelang, Wonogiri, Klaten, Solo, Sukoharjo, Karanganyar, Sragen, Pontianak, Banjarmasin, Samarinda, Makassar, and Jayapura on December 25th, 2014.
It was the second period of Indonesia Mendongeng Program. Indonesia Mendongeng is a program that facilitates the deliverance of good moral values to the Indonesian children through storytelling.
“We expect that through storytelling we can deliver the material easily because we can tell it more expressively, interactively, and attractively. Through it, they could understand the material for pleasure,” Herlan Wilandariansyah, National Coordinator of RZ Volunteer, said.
Wilandariansyah added that the program ran smoothly. He claimed that the volunteer has made a plan to implement it next year. ***
