SRAGEN. Chips are a lovable snack. There are various types of chips that we can find in the market such as cassava, potato, yam, salak, usus and ell chips.
Considering people’s interest toward this product and availability of usus ayam (chicken intestine) as a local farmer’s product, RZ and Inspiration Volunteer attempted to provide entrepreneurship training for local housewives from Bukuran Village, Sragen, Sunday (19/4).
In this opportunity, they were trained by a Micro Business Officer of RZ to make crunchy chips from usus ayam.
“After succeeding producing a type of chips, next we’ll try to train them to make other types of chips or even new type of chips. However, the raw material is easy to be found here thus we can prosper local people,” Himawan, inspiration volunteer of RZ, said. ***
