MEDAN. As one of the health services center in Medan City, RBG Clinic (Rumah Bersalin Gratis) Rumah Zakat which inaugurated since February 16, 2008 is always present new health programs.
One of the programs that are rolled out is Home Post Postpartum. The program is a visit of midwives and nurses to every home of patients who deliver in RBG Clinic Rumah Zakat. Visits were made on the 7th day post-natal.
“This program was rolled out since last April 2016. Thus, the midwife on duty at the Clinic visits the home of the delivery patient. There, they do an examination of the mother and also her baby, “the statement from GA Clinic RBG Rumah Zakat Medan, Yulia.
Examinations conducted include the measurement of body weight and health conditions of infants and the measurement of maternal health and tension. In addition, mothers are also free to consult with midwives and nurses on maternal and child health.

He said that the purpose of this program in addition to improving the comfort and service delivery of patients, also the main one is to reduce maternal and child mortality.
