BANYUWANGI – Learning English (LARE) or learning English is always awaited by the children of Mondoluko hamlet, Banyuwangi, East Java.
This agenda is held every Wednesday afternoon, starting at 15.30-16.30 WIB. Before starting, the children read the book provided by Mondoluko’s Reading House.
Learning practical English conversations, Lare is expected to add insight to participants. Present 32 children on the agenda this afternoon, Wednesday (10/10). The enthusiasm of the participants and the committee who were residents of Mondoluko RT 02 RW 02 hamlet were enthusiastic. Plus there is a door prize for participants who can practice conversations before other participants.
After copying the conversation sentence on the board, children are taught how to read and are asked to memorize. Those who have memorized may come forward for practice. The enthusiasm of the participants to move forward was extraordinary.
“Hopefully this agenda can add insight and English vocabulary for the children of Mondoluko hamlet” said M. Bagus Setiawan, the empowered village facilitator, Glagah, Banyuwangi.
Mondoluko Reading House is an educational program from Empowered Village (Desa Berdaya) program organized by Rumah Zakat in collaboration with Indonesia Juara Foundation.
