MALANG. The UKS cadres from SD Sukoharjo 2 Malang City commemorate National Health Day by learning to plant TOGA or Family Medicinal Plants on Sunday (12/11).
Previously, they also received education about TOGA from Kak Tulus, Rumah Zakat volunteers, and Cita Sehat. After the education, the students directly practice the material that has been taught that is planting TOGA in the schoolyard.
Plants grown include kelor leaf, ginger, aloe vera, and celery. Moringa leaves commonly used for rheumatism and eye pain, ginger can be used for spices and medications bloating and migraine, aloe vera used for hair care and celery can be used to help lower cholesterol levels.
