PEKANBARU. Health care for underprivileged residents in the remote region, Majelis Ta’lim Telkomsel (MTT) of Sumbagteng Regional together with RZ Pekanbaru carried out examination of health care and health education as well as free medical treatment at Taluk Paman Village Hall, Kampar Kiri, Kampar, Riau, on Friday (12/02).
A total of 205 residents obtain health services from MTT. Also present at the event, Head of the Clinical Program of RZ’s RBG Pekanbaru, Fiona and Head of Teluk Paman Village, Rino. “Thanks to Telkomsel and medical teams who have staged Health action in our village, this activity helped underprivileged citizens here, “said Rino.
In addition to health and free medical services, residents have obtained health education regarding hypertension by dr. Rio. He advised that residents must be aware of symptoms of hypertension which incidentally is one of the diseases caused by unhealthy lifestyles.
In addition, Dr. Rio also urged residents still consider a healthy lifestyle by avoiding the causes of hypertension. At the end of the extension, he invited residents to diligently exercise, avoiding smoking, eating a healthy and balanced food, and good at managing stress.
