JAKARTA. A total of 60 elementary school children from 1st – 6th grade at Kalibaru Urban Village visited RW 10 Kalibaru Village to receive stationary packages provided by PT Pelembang Pelabuhan Indonesia (PPI) with Rumah Zakat on Friday (14/07).
Total stationary packages provided as many as 687 which spread in RW 08, RW 09 and RW 10 Kalibaru Village, District Cilincing. “I represent the citizens of Kalibaru to thank the attention of PT. PPI and Rumah Zakat who provide stationary packages at this time” said Slamet Alfarizy, chairman of Kalibaru Village Musyawarah Institute.
Head of Kalibaru Village, Suyono also gave support in his speech. “On behalf of the government, we express our gratitude and highest appreciation. Hopefully PT. PPI keeps going forward, “said Suyono.
Suyono added, regarding environmental problems that occurred in Kalibaru Village he invited PT. PPI with Rumah Zakat to build a sustainable program to be implemented at every RW in Kalibaru urban village such as Trash Bank program. And the director of PT. PPI, Arif Suhartono welcomed that idea warmly. “We are very happy if there is an ongoing program implemented to solve environmental hygiene problems, hopefully in the future we can implement together,” said Arif.
In the speech of the director of PT. PPI, the students received extra special rewards for children who pray Shubuh in the mosque as well as children who dare to read some of the Qur’an verses in front of audiences.
At the end of the event the children received stationary packages consisting of school bags, books and school instruments. Hopefully the establishment of this synergy can provide benefits for Kalibaru residents.
