NEPAL. (4/5). Indonesian Aid for Nepal Team of RZ conducted disaster care action in the fifth day in Sankos, Pachhaghare, and Chilaunevatti, Dahding District, Nepal. Dahding District is a part of Bagmati Zone, is one of the seventy-five districts of Nepal, a landlocked country of South Asia. The district, with Dhading Besi as its district headquarters, covers an area of 1,926 km², had a population of 338,658 in 2001 and 336,067 in 2011.
The track to those villages was challenging and not easy. They had to pass a dusty dirt road hindered by earthquake ruins and river.
“Since the track was difficult to be passed, we rented a tractor to carry the logistic for the victims in Sankos, Pachhaghare, and Chilaunevatti,” Adri Murdianto, a volunteer, said.
Logistic assistances for the victims in Dahding District were Superqurban corned, 5 ton of rice, 50 kilograms of egg, 15 cartons of instant noodle, 500 kilograms of cooking oil, and 10 cartons of biscuits.
Indonesian Aid for Nepal Team of RZ has successfully distributed 10.000 cans of Superqurban corned, 5.475 Kg of rice, 50 kg of egg, 85 Kg of wheat, 585 kg of cooking oil, 100 cartons of biscuit, 85 Kg of lentils and 10 carton of mineral water.
In addition to distribute logistic assistance, RZ also provides trauma healing post children in Nepal. ***
