MEDAN. To improve its volunteers’ skills, RZ invited two members of National Search and Rescue (NSR) Team to share and explain Disaster Preparedness and Emergency First Aid.
This program was implemented at the Branch Office of RZ Medan and it had involved dozens of volunteer from Medan.
In this opportunity, Ady Pandawa, delegation from NSR explained health and lung resuscitation. “Before we conduct heart and lung resuscitation, we have to follow several procedures namely victim’s consciousness checking through calling her name, pinch and patted the victim’s body, hear and feel the victim’s pulse,” he said.
In the last session, all participants were invited to practice and apply the technique toward a puppet. In addition, they also invited to play various educative games. ***
