PALANGKARAYA. To reduce the number of ARI patient in Palangkaraya, RZ collaborated with CSF, Free Maternity Clinic team and RZ Volunteer, to distribute hundreds of N95 masks, oxygen, and vitamin.
These masks were distributed to help local citizens and road users from air pollution that has hit Palangkaraya during the last 3 months. The pollution was caused by the wild fire disaster that hit forests in Riau and Kalimantan.
“As a social organization that concerns toward health issue, RZ has an obligation to help the local people from adverse effects caused by air pollution lately,” Munajatunisa, a coordinator of the action, said.
One of the beneficiaries of the action said that it really helpful since the limited assistance given by local government in Palangkaraya. ***
