BANDUNG. Since entering 2017, there has been a disaster in several regions in Indonesia, ranging from floods, landslides up to the fire. RZ recorded at least 13 regions in Indonesia experienced disasters in the period January – February 20, 2017, namely Kuningan, Sukabumi, Indramayu, Tegal, Brebes, Pasuruan, Jember, Sidoarjo, Sampang, Lebak Banten, Manado, Bangka and Sumbawa.
“RZ has deployed volunteers and distributed the logistic support in 13 disaster points during January and February, and about 3914 residents affected by the disaster has been helped,” said Herlan Wilandariansyah, Coordinator of RZ Volunteers center .
In the disaster response action, RZ has distributed 1900 Superqurban corned, 1,575 food packages, 3,070 basic food packages, 651 food and milk packages, 745 13 154 logistics and building materials packages in 13 disaster site.
“Until now, RZ Volunteers are still continuing to take action of disaster response at some of disaster sites, such as Brebes and Sumbawa. Volunteers are even still continuing post-disaster recovery in some areas that affected by disasters last year, such as Aceh, Bima and Garut, “said Nur Efendi, RZ’s CEO.
