Naturally Indonesia has a great level of disaster risk ranging from the west end to the east. Natural disasters that have occurred in Indonesia are diverse such as earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, landslides, and volcanic eruptions.
The threat of this catastrophe if not addressed can lead to profound grief which has been experienced by Karo residents who are victims of the eruption of Mount Sinabung.
The eruption of Mount Sinabung that never stops creates so many issues around the area. One of them is the loss of clean spring water because at the time the brunt of cold lava erupted. As a form of concern for it, RZ together with PNM build three wells-bore to provide clean water for refugees Sinabung, in Lingga village, Guru Kinayan and Tanjung Merawa.
On Friday (06/03) yesterday, RZ and PNM inaugurated Drilling Water Aid in refugee post Jenggala 1 Guru Kinayan village. It was conducted by the PNM branch manager Mr. Haryono by symbolically handed over bucket water to village head of Linga, representatives of Tanjung Merawa village and Guru Kinayan village.
The event also attended by BM RZ Medan Mr. Budi Syahputra and traditional leaders and the local community. With the wellbore, water tanks and water lines to the various points in each village help people in everyday life and with clean water the villagers can live healthier.
