Nutritious garden is a vacant land utilization program for fulfilling family nutritional needs. This program was firstly implemented in Yogyakarta and it has achieved an award from Indonesia MDG Award (IMA) 2013 for nutrient category.
In July 2014, RZ and CSF (Cita Sehat Foundation), RZ’s member that develop nutritious garden, have successfully established 25 nutritious garden communities in all RZ Branch Offices. “Alhamdulillah, the program keeps giving contribution toward the people. Hopefully, the program can solve malnutrition problems in Indonesia,” Dian Chaerani, CSF Director, said.
To improve the development of nutritious garden, RZ and CSF also are developing Nutritious Academy—social counseling program that focuses on improving people nutrition.
In this program, RZ and CSF invite communities, volunteer, Posyandu cadres, and general people to concern toward food security issue.***
