PEKANBARU. RZ Pekanbaru sent a volunteer team that was consisted of 7 persons namely lrazi, Rozi, Reza, Enda, Hizwati, Karmel, and Rahmi to Rantau Langsat village, Batang Gangsal, Indragiri Hulu. Rantau Langsat is a National Park that is inhabited by Talang Mamak and Melayu Tua ethnic.
The expedition was organized for four days from September 26 to 29, 2014. In this opportunity, the volunteers distributed reading books, stationery, Superqurban corned, Holy Quran, and Mokena.
In addition, the volunteer also implemented Volunteer Goes to School action in several elementary schools in Rantau Langsat. In this action, the volunteer initiated to motivate the students to be more diligent and reach their dream as soon as possible. They also taught some of students who cannot read and write.
On the other hand, the volunteer also invited local residents to preserve mosque by implementing Gema Bersihati action, the action that focus on cleaning mosque building and yard to create a comfortable worshipping place.***
