SEMARANG.On Sunday (12/04) RZ Volunteers to support the International Disability Day event as the organizers of the event. The activities that took place in the yard of Social Affairs office in Central Java province went smoothly.
International Disability Day commemoration this time took the theme of “Building Inclusive Communities, Fair and Sustainable for Persons with Disabilities for a Better Indonesia”. The event attended by about 400 children with disabilities from Semarang and some communities in Semarang city is filled with various activities including fun walk along Jl. Pahlawan, Coretan Hati, the performance of students’ work and talk show together with LRC KJHAM, Yayasan SETARA and PPT SERUNI..
The activity was also enlivened by campaign “Stop Violence against Women and Children” and “Receive By Heart”. In addition, there is also the raising of the flag by Disabled children as the officers and sing Indonesia Raya with sign language.
On the occasion also attended by the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Panowo are pleased to give speech. In his speech, he hopes that the children receive their rights and receive poper attention. “Never again there is violence against children, children with disabilities still have the right to obtain treatment and legal protection. Children, you have to keep the spirit and stay creative.” Ganjar said in his speech.
Besides RZ volunteers who act as organizers of these activities, Cita Sehat Foundation (CSF), which is a partner of RZ also took part in being a medical team ambulance.
