BANJARNEGARA. 20 volunteers of RZ Solo and Semarang headed to Jemblung Village, Banjarnegara, on Saturday (13/12). Jemblung Village had been hit by landslide disaster at 6.30 p.m. on Friday (12/12).
Based on the data of National Disaster Management Agencies (NDMA), the landslide has damaged 40 houses and hundreds of people were buried. Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, Data Information and Public Relations Head of NDMA, said that his team has successfully evacuated 577 people from Jemblung. They are divided in 10 refugee camps.
“Currently, we’ve recorded that there are 20 dead people, 11 severe injured people, 4 slightly injured people, and 88 missing people,” Purwo said.
To alleviate their suffers, RZ sent the volunteers to bring several assistances for them namely 600 packages of Superqurban corned, 100 kg of rice, 15 boxes of mineral water, 5 boxes of instant noodle, 50 pieces of blanket, 40 packages of sanitary napkins, 20 packages of baby diapers, toiletries, shovel, hoe , and body bag.
In addition, RZ also sent 3 units of free ambulances for assisting the rescue teams. ***
