MAKASSAR.Student Alert to Disaster (PSB) was held back by Volunteer RZ Makassar in Madrasah Ibtiadiyah At-Taqwa, Jl. Pattunungan, Antang, Makassar. Antang chosen as the location because the area is prone to flooding when the rainy season arrives.
A total of 40 students were given education about the causes and consequences that would come from the disasters that occurred in Indonesia. They were given a understanding that disasters caused by negligence of the human for lack of a sense of caring for the environment, for example littering that could eventually lead to flooding.
Furthermore, having previously given material about First Aid (P3K), the students were invited to do the simulation. Two students alternately act as people who fainted and injured people. They are very keen to do wound care practice with friends.
Activities start at 09:00 until 11:00 pm was also attended by teachers and parents.
Ramli as the Coordinator of Volunteers expressed his gratitude, “Amazing. Their enthusiasm is immense. Hopefully, the knowledge they receive can be useful someday. “He disclosed.
