BANDUNG. Indonesia is grieving again, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7 on the Richter Scale again shook the Lombok region, West Nusa Tenggara, Sunday (5/8) night. Until this afternoon, 91 people died, 209 people were injured, thousands of houses were damaged, and thousands of people were displaced, according to BNPB, Head of Information Data and Public Relations, Sutopo Purwo Nugrohodi, Monday (08/06).
To reduce the burden on earthquake victims, and most importantly aim to shape the character of concern, SMPJuara Bandung students raise funds. The aid gathering activity was coordinated by the Student Council by entering the class, starting from grades 7 to 9.
“Thank God, we collected around Rp. 200,000, which will be channeled through Rumah Zakat. We also pray for the victims who died and the people of NTB who were victims of the earthquake and are now living in evacuation, “said Ginanjar Rahayu, SMP Juara Bandung’s teacher.
