BANGLADESH. (09/11) Medical tents built by Rumah Zakat in cooperation with local welding workshop in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh have started to be used by Indonesia medical team incorporated in Indonesia Humanitarian Alliance (IHA) to serve the Rohingya refugees in Jamtoli Camp.
“Medical Tent becomes the health center of the IHA team or we call as Emergency Clinic,” said Hermansyah.
“Here in addition to health care and treatment services, there are also extension activities,” he added.
As we know, the health condition of Rohingya refugees is quite alarming. Not only they had taken long trips to Bangladesh, but also inadequate refugee conditions in sanitation, clean water and health services are exacerbating their situation.
“Hopefully with a better medical camp, Indonesian medical team can provide better health service,” said Hermansyah.
