GARUT. Chips are a lovable snack. There are various types of chips that we can find in the market such as cassava, potato, yam, salak, and ell chips.
Considering people’s interest toward this product and availability of bananas as a local farmer’s product, RZ and Inspiration Volunteer attempt to give business financial assistance and train a business community consisting of housewives from Sagara, Garut.
This community started to be trained and counseled since July, 26 2014. Their couches are Yayan Mulyana and Siti Ruhfi Salamah, RZ Micro Business Officer, that teach them regarding to the production strategies, packaging, marketing and networking.
“After succeeding producing common type of chips, next we’ll try to produce uncommon type of chips of even new type of chips. However, the raw material is easy to be found here thus we can prosper local people,” Mulyana said.***
