BRANGSONG, Sunday (18/08). It has become more apparent that the environment is polluted by chemicals. Go green is a program that the Government has been promoting lately to fight this problem.

Located in a former boarding school building, children fostered by Rumah Zakat Brangsong Kendal District, Central Java put the government program in action, which is to make plasticine as a creativity education for children.

Plasticine is a natural material and is even safe if swallowed because the ingredients are flour, cooking oil, baking powder, food coloring, and hot water.

Children are very happy to be able to make their own plasticine and the materials are easy to find and inexpensive. While if plasticine are bought in stores, it is expensive and made of chemicals that children play with. They happily make various kinds of creations, some make flowers, some make turtle, sausages, and others.

Finally, the time for dhuhr is almost here and the Sunday morning children’s activities ended because it started at 10:00 am. “Thank you, Ms. Mut, Rumah Zakat is very beneficial for our child,” said Mrs. Ulin, the parent of the child who is fostered.
