[:ID]BANDUNG – SD Juara Bandung yang merupakan sekolah binaan Rumah Zakat mendapatkan penghargaan Adiwiyata tingkat nasional 2019 untuk kategori mandiri. Pemberian penghargaan diberikan langsung oleh Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Republik Indonesia, Siti Nurbaya Bakar di Gedung Manggala Wanabakti, Jakarta, Jumat (13/12/2019).

SD Juara Bandung tak hanya sekali saja menerima penghargaan Adiwiyata, namun ini adalah yang ke 4 kalinya, Tito Suhendar Kepala Sekolah SD Juara Bandung mengatakan penilaian dalam Adawiyata adalah meliputi Kebijakan sekolah berwawasan lingkungan, kurikulum, partisipasi masyarakat, dan sarana prasarana berwawasan lingkungan. Menurutnya poin-poin tersebut dituangkan dalam satu Gerakan yaitu “Gerakan Cinta Sekolah” didalamnya meliputi program pungut sampah, sakolaku hejo, juara bersih dan resik, kang pisman (kurangi, pisahkan, manfaatkan) sampah.

Dengan penghargaan ini, Tito berharap bisa terus mendukung perbaikan lingkungan dan membangun kebiasaan- kebiasaan baik bagi anak- anak mengenai lingkungan dimulai dari sekolah.

“Kami ucapkan terimakasih kepada Rumah Zakat dan Donatur, Yayasan Indonesia Juara, Pemerintah, serta Guru-Guru SD Juara Bandung terkhusus ketua Tim Ibu Enok Rohanyani, dan tentu saja orang tua beserta anak-anak, dengan penghargaan ini semoga SD Juara bisa lebih baik lagi dalam memperhatikan lingkungan.” ujar Tito.

BANDUNG – Champion Bandung Elementary School, which is a school cultivated by Rumah Zakat, received the 2019 Adiwiyata award at the national level for the independent category. The award was given directly by the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia, Siti Nurbaya Bakar at the Manggala Wanabakti Building, Jakarta, Friday (12/13/2019).

Champion Bandung Elementary School not only once received the Adiwiyata award, but this is the 4th time, Tito Suhendar, Principal of the Champion Bandung Elementary School, said that the assessment in Adawiyata included environmental-friendly school policies, curriculum, community participation, and environmental-oriented infrastructure. According to him, these points are set forth in a single Movement, the “School Love Movement”, which includes the garbage collection program, Sakolaku Hejo, clean champions, Kang Pisman (reduce, separate, utilize) waste.

With this award, Tito hopes to continue to support improvements environment and build good habits for children about the environment starting from school.

“We thank Rumah Zakat and Donors, the Indonesian Champion Foundation, the Government, and Teachers of Champion Bandung Elementary School especially the team leader Mrs. Enok Rohanyani, and of course parents and children, with this award I hope Champion Elementary School can be better at paying attention to the environment,” said Tito.
