It has been nine years and counting of conflict for Syria. Many have been killed, injured, traumatized and displaced from their homes. Over a third of the population are living in abject poverty, malnutrition and coldness of winter even in shelters.
Rumah Zakat is providing food, warm clothing and clean water to those in Syria and outside who are living as refugees to neighbouring Lebanon and Jordan.
Providing aid is not enough as we hope to empower them. Development programs are under way which are 3 units of boreholes, 1 unit of orphanage and 1 unit of Women Empowerment Center.
