Rumah Zakat is a national amil zakat institution owned by the Indonesians that manages zakat, infaq, alms, and other humanitarian funds through a series of integrated programs in the fields of education, health, economy, and environment, to realize the hapinness of people in need. In addition, Rumah Zakat is also an institution that cares about humanity.
Rumah Zakat presents the Empowered Village as an approach to the empowernment program of the target area based on local potential mapping by integrating it, thereby accelerating community empowerment, from mustahik to muzaki.
Empowered Village is a way for us to empower Indonesia that is integrated in rural areas based on local potential mapping in the fields of Economy, Environment, Health, Education, and Disaster Preparedness. We believe that each village area has its own unique potential and community development needs.
Empowerment programs in Empowered Villages are realized through five fields, namely:

- Health
- Economy
- Da'wah & Capacity Building
- Environment and Disaster
In 2022 Rumah Zakat launched the #SaatnyaTumbuhBersama Movement which aims to invite people to grow optimism and a spirit of collaboration to grow together after struggling and surviving in the face of Covid-19 pandemic. It is hoped that through this movement Rumah Zakat and all levels of society can continue to grow, and are optimistic to bring benefits to 1.5 million beneficiaries through optimizing zakat, infaq, alms, and other humanitarian funds entrusted by donors.
