Burkina Faso, January 6, 2025 – Rumah Zakat successfully implemented the distribution of 120 Quran packages in Burkina Faso, specifically in the Centre-Nord Region. This initiative is part of the program of “Syiar Quran for Africa”, which aims to increase access to the Holy Quran in regions where it is needed.
Burkina Faso, a West African nation, has a significant Muslim population. However, access to the Quran remains limited in some areas, particularly in the Centre-Nord region. This program is expected to help local communities deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings and enhance their religious education.
The distribution process was structured and targeted. The beneficiaries included students, Quran memorizers, and members of the general public who need access to the Holy Book.
The “Syiar Quran for Africa” campaign is ongoing, and Rumah Zakat encourages everybody to participate in supporting this program. The more we have donors to support this program, the wider we can reach areas in need to distribute Quran packages.
