NOT RECREATION, CHILDREN MALUKU ARE REFUGING

MALUKU, Thursday (10/17) – After the earthquake that shook Ambon on Thursday, September 26, 2019, 103,327 people were recorded as having to evacuate because their homes were damaged. Including children, who are forced to live in emergency tents to get through their morning, afternoon, and night.

Rumah Zakat responds by providing services from public kitchens to establishing Quran classes for earthquake-affected areas in several villages in Kec. Salahutu, Kab. Central Maluku, Maluku.

Rumah Zakat Action again provides Fresh Post and Warm Post services for the refugees. As of Thursday, October 17, 2019, yesterday, it was noted that the response of Rumah Zakat has served 400 Fresh Post Service packages, 300 Warm Post Service packages.

Rumah Zakat volunteers distribute fresh fruit and provide warm drinks for children. “Thank you sister!” the children shouted happy when they got help and ran to play again.
