PALU. The earthquake and tsunami that occurred in Palu some time ago made Palu residents lose their homes. Rumah Zakat has built shelters, namely temporary housing for victims affected by disasters that have lost their homes.

The installation of steel frames for buildings and roofs is now firmly established, if according to the plan, the shelter will be completed by the end of next December to be used more quickly by disaster victims.
The hope is that development will be on time, “God willing, if there are no obstacles, the temporary shelter will be finished by the end of December,” said Nurmansyah, Rumah Zakat Volunteer.
Nurman added that Shelter built by Rumah Zakat was designed like a barrack measuring 3.6 M X 6 M, with a lightweight steel frame and Kalsibor wall also equipped with air vents, windows and doors. In addition, the shelter complex will also be equipped with supporting facilities such as communal toilets, mosques and playgrounds.
“Insya Allah, The shelter can be occupied by 100 families, for families who are entitled to occupy this shelter, we will cooperate with the local government,” Nurman added.
