BANDUNG. West Java Provincial Government symbolically handed over West Java Relief Program funding for Rohingya second phase this Monday (08/01) at Masjid Al-Muttaqin, Gedung Sate, Bandung.
“This is a form of civil servant care in West Java Provincial Government to help our brother in Rohingya,” said Ahmad Heryawan, The Governor of West Java. “The first stage has been submitted for 2.5 billion, then it turns out there are still many who donate through a special account that is provided for Rohingya, and today has reached 1 billion, we submit back to Rumah Zakat,” he added.
The West Java Care for Rohingya Program will be implemented in the form of food aid, refugee shelter, clothing, education, health, sanitation, and economy.
“Please pray, hopefully, the program can run smoothly and can help alleviate the burden of our Rohingya brothers in the refugee camp,” said Nur Efendi, CEO of Rumah Zakat.
