ACEH – OutBox Malaysia with Musaadah Charity and Rumah Zakat held a two-day Health Awareness event. The first day was held in Suka Makmur Village precisely in Meunasah Suka Makmur Village, Saree Subdistrict, Aceh Besar Regency and the second day was held in Alue Deah Tengoh Village precisely in Meunasah Al Hidayat Alue Deah Tengoh Village, Meuraxa District, Banda Aceh.
Health Awareness activities on the first day, Saturday (09/11), was held from 09.00 to 15.00 and began with the opening by Pic as the field coordinator then continued with remarks from the village head of Suka Makmur namely Mr. Salman. In his presentation, he was grateful for the implementation of this free medical checkup activity.
After the opening remarks, health education about Stunting and its prevention by Dr. Saidi, who currently works at the Puskesmas Suka Karya kac Aceh Jaya was held.
After counseling, health awareness activity begins. In this activity, residents must register first at the registration desk and then have their body weight, after that the height is measured for children who seek treatment, then check their blood pressure, general health checks from doctors, administering drugs and also giving baby foods in the form of UHT milk and biscuit bread for babies and toddlers.
Knowing there is free treatment, local residents are very enthusiastic to come to join the free health service. As many as 71 registered beneficiaries registered and participated in health services from the target beneficiaries of 100 patients.
