Health partner of Rumah Zakat provide education about Danger of Dengue Fever to 1st grade and 2nd grade students of SD Juara Batam, on (19/10), as part of anticipation of the outbreak of students from the frequent outbreak of Dengue Fever infecting communities in the rainy season and inadequate lifestyles maintain the cleanliness of the family environment.
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a contagious disease caused by dengue virus that is transmitted primarily by Aedes Eegypti mosquito bitting, with black mosquito features with white patches on the body and legs, alive and developing in the house and surroundings (bathtub, crock, drum,
cans, used tires, water plant pots, bird sheds, perch on hanging clothes, mosquito nets and dark places and moist and bite during the day.
“To avoid endemic dengue mosquito in the environment, at least we have to do 3M Plus. firstly draining the tub, closing the water reservoir, burying
or remove objects that may be flooded like, and the last by avoiding from mosquito bites, by fumigation and fogging, and abatization watered around our homes “said Mrs. Nafickha Jeanete Amd. H
