[:ID]BANTUAN LOGISTIK UNTUK WARGA TERDAMPAK BANJIR ACEH UTARA[:en]LOGISTIC ASSISTANCE FOR RESIDENTS AFFECTED BY THE FLOODS OF ACEH[:]

[:ID]ACEH. Banjir yang melanda Aceh Utara sejak Rabu lalu (3/1) telah menyebabkan 4 kecamatan terendam banjir hingga setinggi 1 meter. “Hingga Kamis sore ini (4/1), banjir di Kecamatan Matangkuli belum surut, ketinggian air masih sekitar 100 cm,” tutur Muhammad Surya, Fasilitator Desa Berdaya Rumah Zakat di Aceh.

Rumah Zakat mendistribusikan bantuan logistik kepada 600 KK yang terdampak banjir di Desa Tumpok Barat dan Desa Punti di Kecamatan Matangkuli pada Kamis kemarin (4/1). Bantuan yang didistribusikan berupa beras, minyak goreng, telor, biskuit, air mineral, ikan sarden, perlengkapan bayi dan obat-obatan yang diberikan langsung kepada Kepala Desa Tumpok Barat dan Desa Punti.

“Karena banyak warga yang masih bertahan di rumahnya masing-masing, maka kami juga mendistribusikan bantuan ke rumah-rumah warga menggunakan perahu,” ungkap Surya.

Hari Jumat ini (5/1), tim Rumah Zakat akan mencoba mendistribusikan bantuan logistik ke wilayah lainnya yang masih terisolir. Selain itu, tim juga akan mulai membantu warga membersihkan fasilitas umum seperti sekolah dan tempat ibadah di daerah yang airnya sudah mulai surut.

Floods that hit Aceh North since last Wednesday (3/1), has caused 4 sub-districts submerged to floods up to 1 meter high. “Until Thursday afternoon (4/1), the flood in Kecamatan Matangkuli has not receded yet, the water level is still around 100 cm,” said Muhammad Surya, Facilitator of Rumah Zakat Village in Aceh.

Rumah Zakat distributes logistic assistance to 600 families affected by floods in Tumpok West Village and Punti Village in Matangkuli Subdistrict on Thursday (4/1). Aid distributed in the form of rice, cooking oil, eggs, biscuits, mineral water, sardines, baby supplies and medicines given directly to the Head of West Tumpok Village and Punti Village.

“Because many residents still survive in their respective homes, so we also distribute the aid to people’s homes by boat,” said Surya.

This Friday (5/1), Rumah Zakat team will try to distribute logistical aid to other areas that are still isolated. In addition, the team will also begin to help residents clean up public facilities such as schools and places of worship in areas where the water has started to recede.
