BANDUNG. Qurbani inspiration story came from Ananda Evril Rizki (14 th), Rumah Zakat foster child of Bandung. In the economic limitations of his family, Evril has a high spirit to be able to perform qurbani this year.
“Evril collected his allowance for 2 years for Qurbani even though his pocket money is not much, but when it collected continuously, it turn out that he can buy a goat,” said Isna, one of Evril’s mentor’s sister in foster children mentoring.
Evril is a diligent boy who always participates in the coaching area of Cibeunying Kaler, Bandung. This junior high school student admitted to get the spirit berqurban from his mentor sisters when coaching.
“Said Mentor Sister, qurbani is a sign of obedience to Allah and it is sunnah muakad, so I want to be able to carry it out,” said Evril.
Evril is not a rich family child. Her father and mother worked as household assistants with little income. However, the spirit for qurbani should inspire us that qurbani worship is not because it has advantages but because we want to be part of His devoted servant.
