BANDUNG. In order to commemorate National Nutrition Day which falls on January 25 next, Rumah Zakat through Cita Sehat in collaboration with STSU Darul Hikmal students held health education with theme “Balanced Nutrition” in Kampung Morocco, Mekarjaya Village, Bandung.
The event was held on Tuesday (14/01/2018), followed by 100 residents. In addition to education, residents perform free metabolic examination of the body.
“Nutrition material is very important given in order to form a literate society on the importance of balanced nutrition that they are expected to apply everyday in a healthy diet,” said Indah Fauziah, Public Health Cita Sehat Bandung is also in charge of providing educational materials.
Beautiful divides the material into 3 large groups, namely balanced nutrition for the elderly, for teens and for children. The goal is to make the material structured and easy to understand. The residents who were present seemed enthusiastic to listen to the material presented. Especially when Beautiful convey material about vitamins contained in food.
“Thank you Rumah Zakat, Healthy Cita and the students had been going to visit Kampung Morocco, with this activity we can know in January there National Nutrition Day and we can know what foods should be consumed according to his age,” said Nenden , (27), one of the residents of Kampung Morocco.
