JAKARTA. Komariah or Kokom is a fifth grade student of SD Juara Jaktim. She is a daughter of Nasirin and Asmaroh. Her father, Nasirin, works as laborer in private manufactory while her mother is a housewife.
Her family is categorized as underprivileged family since her father income is just enough to fulfill their daily needs. In addition, Kokom is indicated as borderline personality disorder child.
Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is a mental health disorder that generates significant emotional instability. This can lead to a variety of other stressful mental and behavioral problems.
It can be seen for her capability to understand the lessons taught in the class. However, this problem does not make her and her teachers despair. Since the beginning, her teachers always foster and support her development.
Now, she shows significant progress especially in mathematics. “Alhamdulillah, she can memorize multiplication quickly and precisely,” Rahmi, Kokom’s homeroom teacher, said. ***
