SITUBONDO. Safari Ramadhan has already been closed officially by Coordinating Minister of People’s Welfare, Agung Laksono in Situbondo, East Java, Wednesday (16/7).
Safari Ramadhan that was held for 6 days since July 11 had visited several regions in Java. This program was started in Sukabumi and it was continued to visit Tegal, Yogyakarta, Pacitan, Jombang, and Situbondo.
When Laksono arrived in his last destination, Situbondo, he distributed several assistances to the local government of Situbondo such as rice, school operational cost, scholarship for the needy students, Holy Quran, water purifier, and medicines. These assistances were supported by several ministries coordinated by Coordinating Ministry of People’s Welfare.
In addition, the assistances also came from several Non-Government Organizations and Corporate such as RZ, PT Sampoerna, BRI, PT Harsen, Unilever, and Kimia Farma. In this opportunity, RZ (Rumah Zakat) distributed 100 cans of Superqurban Corned for the needy people in Situbondo.***
