PONTIANAK. Maryam was firstly began her business 3 years ago. She opened a small cafeteria next to a State High School in Pontianak. At first, she forced herself to do the business because of her husband’s income that did not meet their family’s needs.
Her cafeteria provides various snacks and foods for students during the school time off. “Firstly, I could only get a small profit-making. However, I am always grateful because from it I can send my children to school and help my husband,” Maryam said.
Her business is starting to improve significantly when she met RZ’s Micro Business Officer (MBO) a year ago. At that time, she received a business financial assistance and she was also invited to participate in entrepreneurship training organized by RZ. In addition, she is also coached and supervised regularly by an MBO.
Now, she could obtain more than 10 million for a month as turnover and 3 million as net profit. “Since I met RZ, I’m always guided and supported by MBO. Thanks to RZ and MBO, “she said.***
