PEKANBARU. Wednesday (1/4) was a great day for the Okura Clean Community. In this opportunity, they harvest kale from their own farm named Kebun Asri. Kebun Asri is a farm that has been established through Urban Farming program intervened by RZ.
In this program the members of Okura Clean Community learn how to create Hydroponic Farm and utilize vacant land. In addition, they also have been trained how to manage waste bank and biopori.
There were 15 members who participated in harvesting kale. “Alhamdulillah, the program ran well and fun,”Syahrir Afandi, a Micro Business Officer of RZ, said.
Afandi also said that this program is implemented to introduce Urban Farming and educate them productive ways in preserving environment and utilizing vacant land.***
