BANDUNG. RZ together with Adira Insurance held a Health preparedness action for flood victims in Garut precisely in Al Hikmah mosque RT 01 RW 01 Pakuwon sub district. Medical examination and the distribution of free medicine to the victims was held for free in the area.
Health preparedness action Event lasts for two days, since Sunday (10/02) until Monday (10/03) yesterday. A total of 120 residents present to check their health.
“Residents who attended more than the amount that we are targeting for post-flood Garut, many people who suffer from skin diseases due to lack of clean water and Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI)” said Warjita, RZ Volunteer, Tuesday (10/04).
Until now, the volunteers are still working to help clean mud from homes and public places. A joint SAR team also still is searching for the missing. Meanwhile, the government is still repairing damaged buildings and facilities.
