West Gaza, March 27, 2025 – Rumah Zakat distributed 2,000 iftar packages to Palestinian residents facing worsening humanitarian conditions due to a prolonged conflict and ongoing blockade. The distribution took place in Al-Karamah Camp, West Gaza, as part of a humanitarian program to support those in need during the holy month of Ramadan.
Amid a strict blockade, food shortages, and an ongoing humanitarian crisis, a meal package was more than just food—it represented hope and a means of survival. In these increasingly difficult circumstances, the aid served as a tangible expression of the Indonesian people’s compassion for their brothers and sisters in Palestine.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, families were able to experience the warmth of iftar even while living among ruins. Each iftar package contained nutritious, well-prepared meals that provided much-needed nourishment.
This iftar distribution program was part of Rumah Zakat’s ongoing efforts to provide aid to Palestinians affected by the crisis.
Rumah Zakat continued to call on the world community to contribute to easing the suffering of the Palestinian people. Donations and support from kind-hearted individuals greatly helped them endure and strive for a better future.
