Gaza, July 7, 2026 – Food crisis remains a serious threat to thousands of families in North Gaza. The prolonged blockade has hindered food distribution, leaving many residents struggling to meet their daily needs.
As a form of solicitude for the Palestinian people, Rumah Zakat launched a Food Baskets Distribution program on July 7, 2026. The aid was distributed at the Al Daraj Clinic in North Gaza, grasping 200 families, or approximately 1,000 people.
The food packages that were distributed contained various basic necessities such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, tuna, feta cheese, tahini, and various canned food products. This aid is expected to help meet the nutritional needs of families amidst the limited access to food.
In addition to meeting basic needs, this program shows the solidarity of the Indonesian people with the Palestinian people that are still facing the humanitarian crisis. The support of donors has brought hope to families struggling to survive amidst difficult circumstances.
Rumah Zakat expresses its appreciation to all Sobat Zakat who continue to entrust their humanitarian donations to us. Every donation provided is a beacon of hope for the people of North Gaza.
Rumah Zakat will remain committed to providing various humanitarian programs for Palestine, ranging from food aid, healthcare, clean water, and other emergency needs. Through collaboration and shared care, it is hoped that more residents will benefit and gain hope for a better life.
